In 2018, Microsoft acquired Semantic Machines, a California based AI company that specializes in conversational AI. As a part of an initiative to bring the technologies of Semantic Machines and Cortana together, I have been driving the experience creation and design integration. Core partners of the project includes our voice design team, SM data scientists, service and client development teams.

The project is currently ongoing with announcements made in both Microsoft Build and Ignite events along with partial product demos.
